And I’m floating in a most peculiar way

Sometimes I stumble upon things that retain my faith in humanity. Today it was this. If you can make a house float, what is there you can't do?

Pixar’s animated movie UP has inspired the makings of this balloon house.
On the morning of March 5th, National Geographic Channel and a team of scientists, engineers and balloon pilots launched the 16 x 16 foot house with 300 8 foot balloons. The house floated around for about an hour and reached an altitude of over 10,000 feet.

Cheap highs and souvenirs

Tänään on mitä loistavin päivä pyörittää peppua, nyökyttää päätä ja kieputtaa käsiä. Disco remixien kuningas, Jacques Renault, ottaa tänään haltuunsa Berliinin virallisen (ainoan) irlantilaisen tekno-mökin; Kleine Reisen. Alla muutama lauantai-illan pelastaja, mukaan lukien herra Renault.

Tried to hold onto my drink and my heart

Things that made me cheerful today:

- Seeing a woman enter a club on my way to work on a Thursday morning at 10 am.
- Realizing that I saved 120€ by ripping this poster off a wall on my way to a grocery store instead of ordering it online.
- This song at 04:40. (I was mentally on my way somewhere when I heard it the first time.)

Apparently I should be on my way all the time.
